Traffic Notices
The City of Kyle provides traffic notices to keep residents and visitors informed about road work, closures, detours, and other activities that may affect travel. Each notice includes details about the project, anticipated impacts on drivers and pedestrians, and schedule updates as work progresses. Check this page regularly to stay aware of changing conditions and plan your routes safely.

Veterans Drive Overnight Lane Closures
Starting Tuesday, March 24 and going through Thursday, March 26 there will be overnight lane closures with flaggers on Veterans Drive (FM 150) from Roy Brooks Avenue to Live Oak Street. These overnight closures are in place to allow TxDOT to complete work on a new center turn lane.
Work hours will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly. Residents in the area will likely experience construction-related noise while work is being done. Drivers are asked to obey traffic signs, watch for flaggers and heavy equipment and drive with caution.
The project is being done by TxDOT. For questions or concerns please contact Joel Mata with TxDOT at 512-619-3086.
Kohlers Crossing Improvements at Kyle Crossing and Marketplace Avenue
Starting January 12 through April 3, there will be intermittent lane closures on Kohlers Crossing at the Kyle Crossing and Marketplace Avenue intersections.
The work being performed will consist of constructing a new acceleration lane west of the Marketplace intersection for traffic turning west onto Kohlers Crossing; extending the existing left-turn lane off of Kohlers onto Marketplace Avenue; and extending the existing Kohlers Crossing left turn lane onto Kyle Crossing. Work will begin at the Kohlers Crossing and Kyle Crossing intersection and then to the Marketplace Avenue intersection as the work nears completion at the Kyle Crossing intersection.
Drivers should expect inside lanes and left-turn lanes to be closed intermittently to allow room for contractor equipment and worker safety.
Work hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic signs, drive cautiously, and expect delays.

Hometown Parkway Improvement Project
Work hours will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. In the event of inclement weather, crews will return the next workday or when good weather permits.
Residents are asked to park vehicles in their driveway and not in the street. During construction, there will be times when the driving surface will be rough.
Drivers are asked to obey traffic signs, watch for flaggers and heavy equipment and drive with caution. In the event when fresh oil is applied to the street, observe fresh oil signs and drive slowly.
