Right of Way Permits

Follow the link below to be taken to our Citizen Self-Service (CSS) portal where you can apply for a Right of Way permit. You will first be prompted to create and account. Once that is complete if you are not redirected to the Right of Way Permit, the menu at the top of your screen has a Right of Way Permit option.

Starting June 1, 2026, the City of Kyle has a new, easier way to apply for a Right-of-Way (ROW) permit with separate application types based on what you're planning to do. This means less guesswork and a faster, smoother process for you.

We've simplified the process by creating specific application types based on the type of work you're doing, so you only fill out what's relevant to your project.

Important note for existing applicants:

If you submitted a ROW permit application before January 1, 2026, you will need to resubmit using the new process. Please contact us if you have questions about your existing application and we'll help you get started.

To apply for all other types of permits please see the Building Department's page. Their page also has general information about the CSS portal such as How To videos for assistance with using the online portal.
